An Arduino based electroanalysis kit and its use in low cost laboratories
Main Article Content
Abstract
The development and validation of a low-cost Arduino-based electrochemical kit is reported, and an example of application in the classroom is presented with results for the investigation of graphite pencils used as electrodes in the reduction of the proton in acetic acid medium. Potentiometry, voltammetry, and chronoamperometry can be performed, so it works as potentiometer and potentiostat. Due to its design of electrical circuit blocks, and with the support of the use of simulations and short tutorials, the kits can be built by students who have not received formal training in electronics.
