IMPORTANT: All articles will be subjected to the iThenticate plagiarism checking software to guarantee their originality. Once they meet these conditions, they will be sent to the members of the Editorial Committee.

As part of our commitment to originality, we upload all manuscripts submitted to Educación Química to the iThenticate platform. The software compares the content of the manuscript with thousands of web pages and other publications. Subsequently, a report is generated for each manuscript that highlights any content that matches the sources in your database. The report includes a similarity percentage and a list of all matching items in the document, as well as their location on the web or in another publication.

If we detect a high percentage of similarity between a manuscript and another publication, we send the report to the authors in PDF format so that they can identify the areas of their writing that need to be modified.

NOTE: Selected and published works will remain the property of the journal, unless the main author submits in writing the decision to withdraw the article for publication.
