Tutorship in Higher Education

Abstract
This paper aims to show how convenient and necessary is to promote tutorship in the domain ofchemical education. It stands out tutorship role in the perspective of a comprehensive education, notonly in the cognitive aspect, but in all of it’s dimensions. Some reflections on the problems and challengesfor their appropriate implementation are also presented. Based in our educational experiencein the chemical area, actions, activities and suggestions are presented in order to consolidate tutor’saction.
