Atributos del cuerpo en un grupo de relatos de tradición oral.

Abstract

The results of the exploration of the representations of the body and the social values of the feminine and masculine from the gender are presented in a group of oral tradition stories, considered part of the cultural heritage of social groups, understood as a succession of testimonies referring to the past which are transmitted by word of mouth, collected during the field work carried out in 2014 and 2015 in the population of Atzala de la Asunción, Guerrero. The stories were provided by children, adults and elders of the community, through the application of interviews and surveys. Of 56 stories, seven were selected, which are those that refer to the attributes of the bodies of two supernatural beings, the subjects that are related to those beings and the representations of the social values that are reflected in them. The results indicate that the mythical characters are of pre-Hispanic and colonial origin, which communicate religious beliefs and Mesoamerican and Catholic social values. The myths are updated with modern attributes and situations, to confirm that the traditions are mobile and performative, hence their survival as heritage.
