Abstract

The skull was located during the revision and analysis of the bone material coming from former convent of San Gabriel, San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, in the occasion of the study about the conditions of life of that sample of population. The importance of the finding rests in that, until that moment, no trepanned skull been reported from pre-Hispanic Cholula nor from colonial time, which contrasts with the abundance of pre-Hispanic skulls with suprainiana injury found in the place. That's why it deserved of a diligent study.
