The social organization of bodily pleasures. Social contributions to the understanding of science sexualities
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work describes the premises characteristics of two approaches in the Social Science field that have contributed to the study of sexuality: social demography and social development. Some people highlight the contributions of social development at the conceptual level, tying up gender relations and stigmatization with discrimination, especially those coming out of social inequalities, sexuality and reproduction. Human sexuality issues are important topics today, and have become matters of discussion in Latin America. They are often discussed within Human Rights debates and as mechanisms of transformation and social justice.
