Abstract
This text is written in one of the thousands of crosses appearing on the sidewalks of our city and we are notified of the exact site of a death (usually because of some unfortunate accident or sometimes, as in the example, a homicide) and they are respected by walkers, authorities and sweepers. These crosses, and many other urban expressions like graffiti, shop windows, billboards and snacks stalls part, from the perspective of Armando Silva, defining psycho-social processes in the current shape of cities in Latin America: urbanisms called citizens.
