Abstract
Traditionally within the history of art, the presence of women has been marginalized. However, at different times artists have stood out who, through their work, have managed to contribute to art’s development. In Elvira Gascón, we have a woman trained as a painter who arrives in Mexico as a Spanish exile. In our country, he develops all his work and stands out in drawing, painting, and muralism.
