Representations and Experiences of Psychologists: Identity and Health Impacts in the Teaching-learning Process

This article describes and analyzes the representations and experiences of the psychology profession in a group of students from a public university in the open education modality, in order to understand the identity elements of the profession and of the professionals themselves, as well as the repercussions on health and specifically on the mental health of the teaching-learning process and professional practices, which involve face to face encounters with people who require professional care and attention and who, by presenting alterations in their emotionality, challenge and impact the professionals in training, causing various ailments for which care strategies are established from the agency of the participants, in interrelation with professional care practices or alternative care systems.
