Bibliometric review of forensic anthropology (period 1948-2016).

Abstract

This document presents a bibliometric analysis, based on the revision of the Scopus and Scielo indexes, of the publications with the keyword forensic anthropology for the period 1948-2016, by continent, by country, and by area, with the purpose of viewing the context of the development of anthropology in the forensic field and encouraging the reconfiguration of an integral concept, with the contributions made from the methods and techniques of each anthropological subdiscipline.
