Normalizing violence. Cyberbullying manifestations among Mexican scholars

Abstract

The present work is a semiotic analysis of some videos that represent a form of expression of violence, within the cyberbullying, consisting of a form of violence among fellows of school in which technology is used in different ways: taking photos, playing, making phone calls and then, put this material in cyberspace as the site YouTube to display the way how they intimidate, harass, humiliate, hit, assault, abuse, torture o excluded, with the aim that the recordings made with cell phones have a massive diffusion of the acts and might increase the curiosity of its audience, without making a critical reflection on the possible damage that he is caused to the victims.
