From the discussion at the end of 2008 on Propuesta para crear las disposiciones reglamentarias para la investigación bioarqueológica en México, comes the concern that before proceeding with it, it is necessarily to think about the bases of the Physical Anthropology and Bioarchaeology. Therefore, the article aims to show the different actors and their agendas on use or handling of archaeological materials, specifically the skeletal remains, and how this interaction between actors and their respective agendas has, in many occasions an opposing dialogue. Among the conclusions we try to get is the construction of norms that must take into account the different actors (inah, research centers, universities, society in general) in order to reach a plural and beneficial consensus to our subject of study.
