La medición de parámetros diagenéticos: comprensión de los modelos de diagénesis

Abstract

The results of the evaluation of a group of diagenetic parameters are presented with the intention of determining the possible relationships between them and the consequences for the state of conservation of the bony material. The analysis of the interdependences of the same ones, allows the construction of the model that illustrates the diagenetic pattern in the dynamic process of interaction between the bone and its burial context. For this, we developed the analysis of two bony collections; one conformed by infantile skeletal remains corresponding to an archaeological site of Western Cuba and the other one, a sample of prehispanic dog bones recovered from caves and tunnels of Teotihuacan, Mexico.
