Frank Lloyd Wright According to Bruno Zevi: A Chronicle of Two Publishing Projects (1947-1979)
Main Article Content
Abstract
Among his vast writings, Bruno Zevi dedicated two books to Frank Lloyd Wright, the first in
1947 and the second in 1979. Both were translated into Spanish and form an important part
of the historiography of modern architecture in the Spanish-speaking world. Generally considered
to be two versions of the same book that evolved over time, a study of their contents
and editorial processes reveals the contrary to be true. This article explores the history of both
books and compares their arguments.
