Developing Images and Industries: Four Case Studies

Abstract

The effort made by companies to record or advertise their architecture has given us images that go beyond their mere documentary value, showing the creative capacity of the professional handling the camera. Through these four photographs and their corresponding case studies, we have constructed a narrative strategy for understanding the process of creating photographs in order to better understand the relationship between photography and architecture, analyzing the value of these images both as historic documents and artistic works,
