House X, by Peter Eisenman. From the Aesthetics of Production to the Aesthetics of Reception
Main Article Content
Abstract
Peter Eisenman´s work takes a radical turn in its philosophical positions
with the House X project (1975), in which he goes from an project-centered design strategy, to another in which the meaning and participation of the subject in the reading of the building are integrated in the conception of the work. This is correlative of a parallel evolution in the realm of philosophy, with the abandonment of Structuralism and the rise of Deconstruction.
