Around and about Los Manantiales: The Reconcile with the Urban and Natural Landscape of Xochimilco

Abstract

Thinking the city as a group of the most diverse scenarios, coexisting in the same place but each one with its own characteristics whose improvised framework does not respect the natural shape of the context that defines it; we propose a series of strategies for the gradual regeneration of Xochimilco, which aims to reconcile the city with the channels. Starting from the urban-agricultural border, we propose different actions that take part on the natural and cultural heritage.
