Interdisciplinary treatment between oral prosthesis and periodontics in a patient with aggressive periodontitis

Abstract
The multidisciplinary treatment the oral rehabilitation in young patients who have had generalized aggressive periodontitis disease represents a challenge due to the horizontal and vertical reduction of the alveolar process resulting in the decrease in support, stability and retention of complete dentures. Case report: Female patient 33 years old, chief complaint was a severe tooth mobility, halitosis, gum bleeding. Treatment planning: implant-retained over dentures with castled milled titanium bars with attachments. Conclusion: The oral rehabilitation of young patients with generalized aggressive periodontitis by means of implant retained overdentures is a successful treatment, due to being a predictable, accurate, easy to use, cost effective and reduced technical and clinical complications.
