FORM FOR THE TRANSFER OF COPYRIGHT PROPERTY RIGHTS

Among the undersigned, namely, the Mexican Journal of Political and Social Sciences edited by the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, domiciled at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Building “G”, ground floor, Circuito Mario de la Cueva s/n, Ciudad Universitaria, Av. Universidad 3000, Col. Copilco-Universidad, Alc. Coyoacán, Mexico City, 04510, represented by its associate editor Alan Rico, identified as he appears at the bottom of his signature, who will hereinafter be called the ASSIGNEE and (name of the author)__________________________________________________________________ domiciled at ____________________________________________________________, identified as he appears at the bottom of his signature, who will hereinafter be called the AUTHOR-ASSIGNOR, have agreed to enter into the following copyright assignment contract, subject to the following clause:

FIRST.

OBJECTIVE: the AUTHOR-ASSIGNOR exclusively grants to the ASSIGNEE the patrimonial rights that correspond to him over the work (title of the article)

By virtue of the foregoing, it is understood that the ASSIGNEE acquires the right of reproduction in all its modalities (printed and digital), including for audiovisual inclusion; the right of public communication, distribution and, in general, any type of exploitation that may be carried out of the works by any known or unknown means.

SECOND.

REMUNERATION: since the Mexican Journal of Political and Social Sciences is a periodical publication that is published without profit motives with the objective of contributing to the scientific development of the area of ​​its competence, the AUTHOR-ASSIGNOR assigns the patrimonial rights free of charge, accepting payment for copyright in kind, through the granting by the ASSIGNEE of a copy where the work object of this contract appears.

THIRD.

CONDITIONS AND LEGITIMACY OF THE RIGHTS: by virtue of this contract, the AUTHOR-ASSIGNOR guarantees that it is the full owner of the exploitation rights of the work(s) and, consequently, guarantees that it can contract and transfer the rights assigned here without any limitation for not having any type of encumbrance, limitation or provision. In any case, the author will be liable for any claim that may be made in terms of copyright, exonerating the ASSIGNEE from any liability.
