The Neodevelopmentalist Front fracture in Brazil of the Workers’ Party

Abstract
This article analyzes the reasons of the Neodevelopmentalist Front fracture that prevailed in Brazil during the governments of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (2003-2010) and Dilma Rousseff (2011-2016). First, it analyzes some fundamental axes of the neodevelopment project, from its main ideologues perspective. In a second moment, it takes place a balance of the actors at a political and economic plane that made up the Neodevelopmental Front in a tactical alliance. Finally, the process by which the fracture of the Neodevelopmental Front took place in a context of falling exports, absence of the subordinate masses and a sharp attack from the right is studied.
