Abstract

The author exposes the discussion about feminists, if they must or not act with or inside the State. She analyzes the role that States play respect woman in several Latin American cases: Colombia; Chile or Peru, to bring them as examples, and how feminist had become implicated inside public policies toward women. The article makes a critical analysis of the women non governmental organizations role in that policies, the feminist themselves and the policies that the State assume through different forms taken in the inter relations between sectors. The author utilizes the direct interview to carry out the debate about gender and the forms adopted to a theoretical field.
