Social enterprises in the current Latin American context

Abstract

The current economic restructuring process at world level has brought as consequence the application of adjustment programs that result in a considerable increase of the poverty. Latin America is not the exception, during the last decades the standard of living has been deteriorated. In this area the social participation is returned indispensable to give solution to the social problems that are suffered. One of the successful mechanisms in this regard is the social company.
