Abstract
Without ignoring the variety of problems that grieve mankind, Ianni concentrates his writting on the analysis of the counterpoint between nationalismm, regionalism and globalization. According to Ianni, these phenomena, whose interaction is contradictory, display both practical and speculative challenges; the author analyses the impact of these defiances within the limits of the state-nation, in the relationship between society-state, in the national schemes, in the culture and the imaginary.
