Abstract

It makes a special emphasis on how a liberal model portrays diversity as a conflict-ridden approach and how the current discourse ‘naturalizes’ social inequalities based solely on Western ideals. As a result, the system creates a one-way liberal culturalism, which has evened fractures of the current model and will look at those changes introduced by a neoliberal multiculturalist model, which portrays diversity in a positive way. Some policies today have allowed positive steps toward cultural rights, but haven’t resolved structural inequalities. How shall we solve these problems from a critical perspective, that’s the question?
