Peninsula

A biannual, indexed, open-access journal of interdisciplinary research in the humanities and social sciences. It gives priority to the publication of works on southern and southeastern Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. It is published by the Peninsular Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, based in Mérida, Yucatán. It accepts proposals for dossiers, academic articles, and critical reviews of new publications, provided they are unpublished and original works that have not been submitted simultaneously to another medium. Texts may be submitted in Spanish, English, or Yucatec Maya.
