Música y máquina en el pensamiento de deleuze y guattari
Main Article Content
Abstract
Using a few concepts conceived by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, this paper proposes a critical review of some judgments that the musical vanguard in the 70’s expressed about itself. Analyzing some structural ideas operated by Pierre Boulez to explain his procedures in musical composition, I will show that the link between Deleuze’s Philosophy and the aesthetic of Boulez are not methodological but just circumstantial. Furthermore, I activate some concepts like, machine, plane, percept, affect, in a specifically musical realm. In that way, I propose a confrontation between music and philosophy, not in terms of aesthetics or long-established musical expressions, but on the basis of such dynamical assemblies produced by musical machinic agencies.
