Abstract

The world is going through a highly complex time; at the end of 2019, COVID-19 was announced, and the pandemic caused confinement, mortality, and a generalized decrease in the Gross Domestic Product, among other factors. However, the human being did not learn anything, and the most powerful countries are trying to expand their geopolitical influence. Within this panorama, Ukraine was in the middle of the ambitions of the United States, Europe, and Russia because it has a strategic location for international trade. The Americans and their allies wanted to establish a dam to Russian growth; these, in turn, invaded the Ukrainians, causing death and flagrant human rights violations.
