Abstract

War has been seen mainly as a military confrontation, the main narrative being the explanation of the same by the role of a caudillo, the claims of an ideological order, or a nationalist feeling. However, this relationship is not the only one. During the conquest of Mexico, other plots were developed, including the alliance between Europeans and Mesoamericans. The present work shows some reflections on this matter.

Jesús Antonio García Olivera, Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades, Plantel Naucalpan

Licenciado en Historia por la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (FFYL) de la UNAM; maestro en Docencia para la Educación Media Superior, campo del conocimiento Historia, por la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras y el Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas (IIF); tiene una especialidad en Historia del Arte por la FFYL y el Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas (IIE). Es analista en el Archivo General de la Nación, galería 4; maestro del CCH en el plantel Naucalpan desde julio de 1979; ha publicado en diversas revistas nacionales e internacionales.
