Abstract
Laureana Wright, poet and journalist from the Porfiriato era, aware of the important role that women play in society, gives us her vision and her criticism about the historical evolution of Mexico and its impact on the time in which she lives—showing us that women have fought for their recognition as an active social subject in the history of Mexico and of the world.
