Abstract
Women as a social subject have moved to[1]wards using the notions of gender equali[1]ty in the political struggle for their rights, and processes carried out with greater emphasis during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Through a comparative and documentary methodology, this contribution analyzes changes, ruptures, and continuities, in social movements of the 20th century promoted by women and that have had a significant impact on the lives of many Mexican women until today.
