Cabaret, cabareteras, ficheras, meseras, prostitutas, reglamentarismo, abolicionismo This text about strippers has as sources my thesis and master’s degrees in history. The first was about the nightlife in Mexico City: the cabarets and brothels, from 1935 to 1945; the second, on Waikiki cabaret, which remained open from 1935 to 1954. In both cases I referred to the strippers, certainly it was hard not to talk about them
