Modeling of the pacemaker operation and its electronic implementation

Abstract
The implementation of software for controlling artificial pacemakers is a highly demanding challenge due to the risk that it implies. The goal of this project is to develop a pacemaker prototype able to provide an action potential according to the needs of heart cells.
The development of this prototype, - from the modeling, supported by the simulation and by building electronic circuits-, is a first step to continue to evolve technologically towards a better pacemaker with decreasing software failures and more energy efficient.
