Analysis of the agricultural sector in the processes of economic liberalization of Mexico (1980-2019)

Abstract

The objective of this essay is to expose and raise awareness about the situation faced by the agricultural sector, and how it would be more efficient and effective if the Mexican government had extended aid to workers in the area at critical moments, after the 1982 crisis; Likewise, it clarifies the importance of Mexico's trade agreements as the main tool towards economic liberation, their significance on the Mexican GDP, the context of workers and their homes.
