Abstract

The purpose of this work is to analyze the relationship that existed between the Delegational Urban Development Programs of the then Cuauhtémoc Delegation (PDDUDC) and the gentrification process that took place in the Doctores neighborhood, both in Mexico City during the period 1994-2015. This is a multidimensional study with a focus on open government management analysis that demonstrates, through the results, that governmental decisions without citizen collaboration and without a sense of the public interest, far from contributing to social development, harm it.
