Popular culture and electoral propaganda in Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil): An analysis in the discursive and folkcomunational perspective

Abstract
This study investigates the maid political-electoral strategy in the campaign for the majoritarian elections of 2014 by candidate for governor of state of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil), Robinson Faria (PSD). This strategy, seize representative symbolic aspects of daily life in popular culture of the brazilian Northeast, crystallizing in the form of popular message the political message in electoral propaganda, camouflaged by aspects of humor and spontaneity. We delimit the corpus to two electoral programs aired on TV during the first round of the election and we consider to substantiation the theoretical-methodological perspectives of french Discourse Analysis (AD) and Folkcommunication.
