Una guerra indocampesina el Péru: Sendero luminoso

Abstract

The newspaper notes about the peruvian social movement known as Sendero Luminoso are more frecuent every day; this growing presence is seen too in the social scientists' publications. Nevertheless little is said about its social framework and ¡ts political orientation and history. The aim of this assay is to answer those questions and to analize the ethnic component, as well as the socioecononric matrix, in which its political and military strategy attain its meaning; in the same way the article deals with the approaches, of anthropologists and sociologists, that had tried to explain this social movement.
