Focus and scope

The digital journal Anales de Antropología is a publication in advance of the biannual printed version, since the articles are published continuously in the OJS platform, once the editorial process is completed, in order to reduce the waiting time for the appearance of the articles and thus increase their visibility and citation.

Anales de Antropología publishes on the different anthropological disciplines (physical anthropology, social anthropology, archaeology, ethnology, ethnohistory and anthropological linguistics) scientific papers, critical and theoretical-methodological essays, as well as bibliographical reviews; whose subject matter is of worldwide interest. Without losing the perspective of the specialty from which the texts are approached, whether interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary.

Peer review process

Anales de Antropología uses the double-blind peer review system, so 2 reviewers are assigned to each article and a third is added if necessary.

This journal provides immediate free access to its content under the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater exchange of global knowledge.
