Abstract

Discontinual cranial traits have proven valuable in the study of the genetic relationship of ancient populations. This paper studies 24 preagricultural and preceramic crania and 40 crania from an agricultural phase from Cuba. Both groups show significant differences among them. Some of the traits may be affected by intentional cranial deformation. These results are compared with other groups from the American continent.
