Ortodoxia y herejía en la antropología mexicana

Abstract

Recent developments in anthropological research in Mexico reveal theoretical diversity which corresponds to the gradual polarization of the economic and political processes which, in tum, affect the country. In this paper we will try to demonstrate the relationship among the different theoretical positions and some of the identifiable political processes in present Mexican society.
