Opting for Anthropology as a career and other matters

Abstract
The paper presents some of the perspectives opened up by ethnographic approach of an ongoing investigation about the election of Anthropological Sciences in the University of Buenos Aires as a career, the later biographic-intellectual development of their students and the contents that conform the representations about the success and the failure in it, in an institutional culture that tends to naturalize their practices, symbolic values and traits of identity.
