Teotihuacan y Tenochtitlan: Reflexiones sobre los modelos de redistribución y de mercado de la obra de Karl Polanyi

Abstract

This work shows the analysis of the application of the method of Karl Polanyi based on his model of redistribution and its distinction between markets controlled by a central power and the self-regulating market of our society. Also studies the Polanyi concepts about the Mesoamerican societies of Teotihuacan (100-660) and Tenochtitlan (1427-1521), from the interpretations of the specialists and the conclusions that could be obtained.
