Fenotipos faciales en mayas de Yucatán

Abstract
This paper analized the facial phenotypes of two series mayas from Yucatan: male and female, belonging to a larger collection gathered in the proyect La cara del mexicano. The main purpose has been the study of the somatic varability of this mayense group, due to his particullary biological identity. The facial phenotypes of 128 male and 56 female were determined following the methodology of Villanueva (2000). The results were compared between sexes and also with the phenotypes of another groups of mexican population.
