Abstract

This study is an experiment in the application of five computer programs to the corpus of the Cuitlatec language. The technical part was developed from a pattern matching in strings algorithm. The linguistic part attempts to stablish a logical relationship between meanings and culture, and offers here as examples three semantic fields showing the limitations of that posslble relation.
