Abstract

In other work, titled Los mitos d¿l tlacuache, the author propose that main elements of myth can have different levels in their exegesis and that results are not contradictory, even though myth elements change their value with each one of the exegesis. In this article it is used, as an example, a pipil myth that tells the origin of birds and quadrupeds. This myth may have another lecture: the origin of the  arrive, calendarically arranged, of gods' forces that constitute time.
