Abstract
Numerical models in economics have moved too far from the substantial aspects of the crisis, and therefore are not only insufficient but inefficient. Reason why it must be systematically evaluated whether the various economic teams of the countries and regions, when considering the problem and the alternatives, are acting not only decisively, but also efficiently and imaginatively. Just thinking that the crisis is dissipating, as the International Monetary Fund has begun to propagate, or that China could be, with its maquiladora regions, or its consumption or investment, a possible way out, is to not be clear about its true dimension in the global market, which although important, is limited. Therefore, it can be stated that such evaluations are not yet showing the magnitude of the ongoing crisis, nor its harmful effects on the deep structures of the world economy.
