Abstract
Special Issue: 100 years from the Federal Reserve of the United States.

The Federal Reserve (Fed) of the United States was founded in December 1913, six years after the important financial crisis of 1907. This process forces us to reflect on the current crisis that began in 2007-2008 and continues to this day. In fact, in the last six years of this crisis, there is a feeling that one is, at approximately the same point as in 1907, vis-a-vis the founding of that important American institution. A reflection on the current results of the financial crisis process initiated in 2007-2008, could indicate that those responsible for recently applied policies have learned much less than those who were struggling to establish the Fed System a century ago.
