Ischemic heart disease and the gender approach current situation in this health problem

Abstract
Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) and especially ischemic heart disease require multi-and-interdisciplinary approach for proper diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation. The gender approach is imposed as a necessity to these conditions perspective. A review was made on the state of the art of Ischemic Heart Disease and modifiable risk factors in different bibliographic sources in order to specify to what extent the gender approach is currently taken into account in the study of patients carrying these sufferings. Results: There are not many studies on IC where the gender approach is present and gender and sex are often used handled indiscriminately.
It is concluded due to its importance in the prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of coronary ischemic diseases or at risk, the gender approach must be incorporated as soon as possible to healt politicians and to the task of each particular science that is related to this problem.
