Author Biography

Luis F. Aguilar Villanueva, Universidad de Guadalajara

He holds a doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and has postdoctoral studies at the State University of Tübingen, Germany. He is a researcher emeritus of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI). In 2014, he was named Doctor Honoris Causa by the Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública. He has also been Subsecretario de Desarrollo Político and Coordinador de Asesores in the Secretaría de Gobernación from 1995 to 1997 and Presidente of the Fundación Mexicana Cambio XXI Luis Donaldo Colosio. He currently serves as Coordinador of the Comité Técnico de la Red de Políticas Públicas of the Universidad de Guadalajara.
