Attitudinal Predisposition Towards Vote in Argentina. Individual Variables and Contextual Incentives
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article attempts to study voting turnout from a motivational approach. We will be discussing which are the factors that influence voter turnout on the basis of a recent survey conducted in Argentina during 2015. In theoretical terms, this article proposes that voting turnout results from the interaction of structural, individual and context incentives. According to our findings, high rates of voting turnout can be explained by factors related to political commitment and context.
