Abstract

The current interpretations of Mexican Revolution are important issues for the critical analysis of the epistemological trends in social sciences. The authors of this article attempt to classify the various interpretations of Mexican Revolution according with the way both time and space concepts have been used whether explicitly or not. In this regard after surveying the most recent boom of regional micro-historical literature in which they found certain scepticism with theoretical paradigms and a rejection of theory, they finally outline their own proposal which main purpose is to avoid any sort of empiricism or narrow minded theoretical approaches, for the study of historical processes.
